Jeanne Ruddy Dance is holding auditions for male dancers. Applicants should be mature and experienced contemporary dance performers with strong dance technique. All dancers MUST be available for our 2011 concert week: April 14-17, 2011. Some tour dates. Rehearsals begin September 7, 2010. Please bring headshot and CV or resume. The Naked Stark – Wilmington Fringe Festival Performance
The Naked Stark is a Philadelphia based contemporary dance company committed to the philosophy that works of art can stimulate social change. The Naked Stark is having an audition for Goodnight War, an evening length work exploring the ways in which war is embedded in our culture, which will be presented at the Wilmington Fringe Festival in Delaware. Kalamandir Dance Company
Kalamandir Dance Company is looking for experienced dancers trained in any style of dance, interested in learning the dances of India. Seeking dancers comfortable with improvisation, partnering, and working collectively. Dancers also need to be comfortable working outside of the studio for site specific projects. No pay, but great exposure and experience. Rehearsals are on Sundays from 12-4 pm in Kendall Park, New Jersey. Other rehearsals as necessary near performance dates. Schuylkill Valley Regional Dance Company - Seeking Male Dancer
Schuylkill Valley Regional Dance Company is seeking a male dancer, age 18-35, for a contemporary ballet piece to be performed in October, possible "Nutcracker" in December and "La Fille mal Garde" in April. For October performance, an ethnic look to appear Native American is preferred. Rehearsals will take place in Pottstown so access to an automobile is helpful, but assistance with transportation is available. Dancer must be well trained in classical ballet, have a strong work ethic and be reliable. These are paid positions with a very competitive rate.
